In most cases logos should be supplied as Vector files with text converted to curves ("create outlines"). Files of this type include:
    Adobe Illustrator (".ai") version CS3 or earlier
    Corell Draw (".cdr") version 12 or earlier

Photographic images should be 300dpi or higher at printed size. Files of this type include:
    PhotoShop (".psd")
    TIFF (".tif")
    JPEG (".jpg")

Note: graphics or images copied off websites are usually of too low a resolution to print.
